Movement to Music.

This is really a special Keep Fit class for elderly people. The class has been running successfully for over 5 years. There are 25 elderly people in the group and we meet every week on a Thursday afternoon. We have a qualified teacher who carefully grades the movement exercises to the needs of the class and in time to popular music. After the exercises the group have a cup of tea and a chat for almost as long. Clearly the social aspects of the class form a vital part of the weekly meeting. New members are always welcome but there may be a waiting list. For further details just phone The Puddenecks Class Manager Jack Williams on 020 8363 1537

Entertainment in the Homes
Puddenecks’  main aim is to provide socialisation to the elderly to prevent isolation.  However, many residing in Nursing or Care homes are unable or experience severe difficulties in travelling out to join our guests in other venues.  As the name suggests, Entertainment in the Homes brings musical and other light entertainment to the homes for sessions lasting for a couple of hours.  Additionally, some day centres and elderly clubs also avail themselves of the opportunity.

The artists all have experience of playing to older audiences and understand what works best to enhance the enjoyment of the audience. All costs including paying fees where appropriate are met by Puddenecks Club. If you would like to find out more for your residential home or to offer to perform please call Paul Kidd on 07818 005567.
