Privacy Statement

When you engage with us, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information. We only use your data for the purpose you originally provided it and we will never sell or share your data. Where it is essential for us to pass your data to a third party, this will be the minimum data necessary for the specific need, for example booking tickets for an event.

The nature of the personal data that we hold depends upon the nature of your engagement with us.

Guests

The information we shall hold is necessary for us to invite you to an event (name, address, telephone numbers), arrange appropriate transport (mobility aids required), arrange appropriate catering (dietary requirements required)  and in case of an incident or illness your nominated contact in case of emergency. At events, pictures may be taken and published on our website or other publications to publicise our activities.

Occasionally, such as during Coronavirus 19 in 2020, telephone befriending services will be offered and a log of calls will be kept and shared with the Events Co-ordinator. All information held will be deleted as soon as the befriending service ceases.

We do not sell goods, there is no annual fee payment and we do not need or hold any of your financial information.

You will be able to ask to see the information held by asking the Event Co-ordinator at any event or by writing to the Secretary, Roger Moore.

Puddeneck Club Members

When you join some of your registration details (name, address, telephone numbers, email address and if provided, partners name) will be entered onto an electronic database. These details will be shared only with other members.

You will see the details we hold in the annual membership list. When you leave your details will be deleted from all further membership lists.

Concerns

Your rights are important to us and if you have any doubts or concerns about how we use, or have used your data, please refer these by email to our Secretary Roger Moore at ri.moore@virgin.net
