Working Together

As a small charity we believe there is much that can be achieved by working with other organisations seeking to help older people. To that end we have, over the years collaborated with:

• Age UK Barnet – to help fund a cookery course for older men
• High Barnet Good Neighbours – to help establish a befriending service for older people who are confined to their homes
• Friends In Need – to contribute to the refurbishment of their kitchen
• East Barnet Community Centre – to support the refurbishment of their premises
• Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club – who run a Christmas lunch for older people and who gave us great support during the Covid lockdown
• The Bull Theatre – in providing a special Old Time Music Hall performance for our guests
• The Open Door Centre –  who provided meals for older people during the lockdown period
• Citizen’s Advice Barnet – to help older people in need

We have also organised meetings with a group of local charities to explore where working together can help older people.
